Instead of just comparing each month's round on its own, an Eclectic competition remembers your best-ever score on each hole, all year, and adds those 18 best scores together. So even a shocker of a round can still help your score — smash one hole that day, and that new best sticks for good, no matter how the rest of the round goes.

⚠️ Why This Site Sometimes Won't Match The Club's Official Report
Your handicap changes after every round of golf you play — a Saturday comp, a midweek round, anything entered into the system — not just your monthly Eccles round. The club's official software applies your handicap as of right now, whenever the report is generated. This site only finds out your handicap when someone types it in for that month's Eccles round — so if your handicap moves because of golf played outside this competition, this site is stuck on the old number until an admin refreshes it.

Why do two players show the same rank?
Tied Nett scores share a rank, exactly like the club's own report — e.g. two players both on 49.50 both show rank 2, and the next player is rank 4, not 3.
What if I miss a month?
Nothing bad happens — your best-per-hole total simply carries forward unchanged until your next round. You just won't gain any new best scores that month.
Why "75%" of my handicap?
That's the reduction Barnwell Park applies specifically for this Eclectic competition — it's not your full handicap, and not something this site decides.
